About Us

A nest containing a folded 100 Australian dollar bill.

InvestCalc was created to help everyday Australians make better-informed long-term investment decisions.

The idea started from personal research into the trade-offs between different investment options — particularly shares, property, and the impact of cashflow over time. As an engineer, the creator of InvestCalc approached investing the same way as any complex problem: by breaking it down, modelling different scenarios, and understanding the numbers behind the decisions.

InvestCalc provides free, unbiased investment calculators designed to help people explore questions like:

  • How does investing in shares compare with property over the long term?
  • How much could an investment grow over time?
  • What are the real cashflow impacts of different strategies?
  • How do different assumptions change the outcome?

The calculators are built to focus on the factors that actually matter: time, compounding, costs, cashflow, and realistic assumptions.

InvestCalc is not a financial advice service and does not promote a particular investment product or strategy. The goal is simply to provide clear tools that help Australians analyse their options and make decisions with more confidence.

Created in Brisbane, Australia.
